In Romans 3: 23, the Bible says that we have all sinned, and come short of the glory of God. So we are all in big trouble and we cannot, by our own selves come clean or be declared innocent or guiltless. But thanks to Jesus, because by His sacrifice on the cross and by taking our place, we can become clean, JUSTIFIED by faith. We can also have peace with God. Thanks be to Jesus for carrying our guilt upon Himself. Hallelujah!
